WOW. You should have seen the look on my face. It was filled with joy. If you have a PC. Well then throw that computer away and get a brand new mac. It does not have to be expensive. And also, did you that if you have a PC you can transfer all your information on your PC to the new mac. You do other stuff on a mac. You can surf the web with high speed connection. And you know what amazed me most. You can get windows on your mac. But the one thing that is bad is that then your computer can get virus. If you have heard. Macs can not get virus unless you get windows boot camp. What that means is that if you get windows on your computer you can get virus. So if you get a mac I recommend that you do not. Do not. DOWNLOAD WINDOWS TO THE MAC. AND ALSO DO NOT DOWNLOAD MICROSOFT OFFICE.

I would like to know why cars do not go faster than 300 miles. The person who made the first cellphone is Martin Cooper. Here are some facts about him:Martin Cooper (born December 26, 1928 in Chicago) is considered the father of the cell phone (as distinct from the car phone). Cooper is the CEO and founder of ArrayComm, a company that works on researching smart antenna technology and improving wireless networks, and was the Corporate Director of Research and Development for Motorola. He received his degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1950 and received his master's degree from the same institution in 1957.
Jesse Hornbeck is the inventor named on US patent 3,906,166, Radio telephone system. cooper is considered the inventor of the first portable handset and the first person to make a call on a portable cell phone on April 3, 1973, to the bewilderment of passers-by in a road of New York. That first call, placed to his rival Joel Engel, Bell Labs' head of research, caused a fundamental technology and communications market shift toward the person and away from the place. It was the incarnation of his vision for personal wireless communications, distinct from cellular car phones. Cooper later revealed that watching Captain Kirk talking in his communicator on the tv-show Star Trek inspired him to research the mobile phone.
Cooper gave his name to Cooper's Law, the observation that the number of radio frequency conversations which can be conducted in a given area has doubled every 30 months since Marconi's spark gap transmitter.
Cooper grew up in Chicago and earned a degree in electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. After four years in the navy serving on destroyers and a submarine, he worked for a year at a telecommunications company. Hired by Motorola in 1954, he worked on developing portable products, including the first portable handheld police radios, made for the Chicago police department in 1967. He then led Motorola's cellular research.
In 2003, Cooper received the Wharton Infosys Business Transformation Award for his technological innovations in the communication field. Cooper is also a member of Mensa.

Martin Cooper was born in Liverpool in 1958 and studied art at the Laird School of Art in Birkenhead. This was followed by three years at the Sheffield College of Art where he obtained a first class honours degree in Fine Arts in 1980.

Between 1980 and 1989 Martin was a member of the highly successful pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. As part of OMD Martin performed and toured with the band extensively throughout Europe and the USA.

The band achieved a number of chart successes both in the UK and internationally, including Architecture And Morality - one of the most successful albums of the 1980's. The album also spawned Souvenir, co-written by Martin, a single which reached No. 3 in the UK charts. It also managed to reach No. 1 in France, Spain and Portugal.

From 1990 Martin was part of The Listening Pool, the band he formed with ex-OMD members Paul Humphreys and Mal Holmes. Forming their own label Telegraph Records, they released the critically acclaimed album Still Life.

Since leaving the group, Martin has devoted most his time and energy to his painting. Many of his works are still life pictures, usually in oils, which are acutely observed and convey a great sense of harmony and tranquillity.

Martin has exhibited extensively, both in the UK and overseas, and his pictures hang in many private collections. In recent years he has exhibited at the Williamson Art Gallery (Birkenhead), the Royal Academy of Arts (London), the David Messum Fine Art Gallery (London), W H Patterson (London), Woodhay Picture Gallery (Newbury), Llewellyn Alexander (London), the Brian Sinfield Gallery (Compton Cassey Galleries), Sarah Samuals Fine Art (Chester), Heritage House (Bermuda) and the Fel Gallery (Singapore).

In 1998 Martin was awarded the sponsors prize in the Discerning Eye exhibition which was held at The Mall Gallery in London.

Martin lives in Greasby, Merseyside with his wife, Alexandra Bibby, a classical pianist, and their two sons.

Dr Martin Cooper, a former general manager for the systems division at Motorola, is considered the inventor of the first portable handset and the first person to make a call on a portable cell phone in April 1973. The first call he made was to his rival, Joel Engel, Bell Labs head of research.

AT&T's research arm, Bell Laboratories, introduced the idea of cellular communications in 1947. But Motorola and Bell Labs in the sixties and early seventies were in a race to incorporate the technology into portable devices.

Cooper, now 70, wanted people to be able to carry their phones with them anywhere.

While he was a project manager at Motorola in 1973, Cooper set up a base station in New York with the first working prototype of a cellular telephone, the Motorola Dyna-Tac. After some initial testing in Washington for the F.C.C., Mr. Cooper and Motorola took the phone technology to New York to show the public.

The First Cellphone (1973)

Name: Motorola Dyna-Tac
Size: 9 x 5 x 1.75 inches
Weight: 2.5 pounds
Display: None
Number of Circuit Boards: 30
Talk time: 35 minutes
Recharge Time: 10 hours
Features: Talk, listen, dial

In 1973, when the company installed the base station to handle the first public demonstration of a phone call over the cellular network, Motorola was trying to persuade the Federal Communications Commission to allocate frequency space to private companies for use in the emerging technology of cellular communications. After some initial testing in Washington for the F.C.C., Mr. Cooper and Motorola took the phone technology to New York to show the public.

On April 3, 1973, standing on a street near the Manhattan Hilton, Mr. Cooper decided to attempt a private call before going to a press conference upstairs in the hotel. He picked up the 2-pound Motorola handset called the Dyna-Tac and pushed the "off hook" button.

The phone came alive, connecting Mr. Cooper with the base station on the roof of the Burlington Consolidated Tower (now the Alliance Capital Building) and into the land-line system. To the bewilderment of some passers-by, he dialed the number and held the phone to his ear.

Who is he?
Cooper grew up in Chicago and earned a degree in electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. I had a great time there.there as duck instead of turkey. We usually have turkey ,but this time there was duck. I had the livers of it too. Most people think that livers are not tasty but they are to me. My grandmother said to throw the livers out but I said "Not this time. I want to try them this time and that is final." So when I was eating them my brother said that he wanted to try the livers which he always says to throw them out too like my grandmother. So my brother tried them and liked them like I did. It was the first time I ever ate livers. Livers is only one thing I ate that was good that I liked. I had very good stuffing, duck, sweet potatoes, and cake. When I was finished I was feeling like I was a fat sumo fighter that is fater then normal. What the main thing is, is that I had a great time to spend some time with my family. I DECLARE THAT IT WAS A GOOD THANKSGIVING.

I think that the Native American project was very interesting.I liked because I was in the project with people that are very nice.Peace out people til next time.Word.

BOLGS

I think blogs are cool.
